This Halloween tree is inexpensive, easy to decorate, and built around items you may already have at home or in your classroom. Start with a few children’s Halloween books and tuck them securely among the branches. If you don’t already own Halloween books, check a used bookstore, garage sale, thrift store, or your local library’s book sale for affordable choices.
You can then fill the empty spaces with decorations you already have. I used pumpkin sprays, but berry picks, ghosts, bats, fall leaves, or almost any Halloween picks would work just as well. There’s no need to purchase everything new—the fun is finding creative ways to use what you already own.
