Birthday Fiesta Celebration Tree

Bring on the bright colors, piñatas, and birthday fun! My “Birthday Fiesta!” Celebration Tree was created for my sister’s birthday using colorful party decorations, mini tequila bottles, margarita ornaments, papel picado, and plenty of festive ribbon.

Because she did not want to spend much money on decorations we purchased lightweight party supplies that were on sale that easily turned into ornaments with ribbon, floral wire, or ornament hooks. The pink/silver mesh I found a few months ago at a dollar store and it gives the tree a little birthday sparkle. The colorful floral bow(that I had from a different tree) ties everything together at the top.

This is an easy theme to personalize. Replace the tequila decorations with other birthday items or signs to make the tree work for your celebration. After my sister’s birthday, many of the decorations will be reused for a Día de los Muertos gathering, a Cinco de Mayo party, and celebrating Mexican Independence Day.
